BIG NEWS!!!!!
Ladies and Gentlemen... Boys and Girls... Ghouls and Goblins Thrill The World NYC
has ASTORIA PARK, Queens!!
We are holding the permits in our hands! Yay!!
I was able to squeeze a few more dollars from the Gene/Amada fund to cover the permits
since they are time sensitive. Although we are still in dire need of donations for
the insurance certificate and of course the rental of a generator and the tables
and chairs. Basically
we, my fiance Gene and I put down the security deposit/clean up bond
($500) and the expense of overtime ($300). We are willing to put our
rent on the line for this...with the promise that everyone cleans up
after themselves, so when the park is returned to perfect condition the $500 will
be returned back to us. We are entrusting all of you zombies to do
just that. The
sound permit was another $45.00 but we have those funds covered from
special misc. donors. So done!
Please if you can DONATE do so! It's simple and easy and tax deductible!
Before Monday we need to raise at least $600 bucks. That's a couple bucks per person

YOU will need to arrive in costume, bring food and water, and if you
are expecting friends and family to come watch you they will need to
bring a chair to sit on.
Also Thrill The World needs you to
fill out these forms before participating in the event. There is an
adult form and a child form. You must print it as it applies, fill it
out, and bring it with you to participate the day of. This is your
Thrill Ticket!!

*Fundraising Team-Help with all fundraising events as well as help raise money for
VH1 Save the Music.

*Promo team-Dress as zombies and walk around passing out flyers and
asking for sponsorship to post a poster and or get a donation as well
as spontaneous Thriller Dancing!
*Production/Registration Staff-Help with setup and breakdown day of-assist
zombies with getting to the space on time as well as make sure everyone is properly
registered for Guinness World Records.

*Dance Instructors-learn the dance then teach.

*Media Relations-contact media and press.

*Makeup Artists-donate time the day of to create zombie faces.

*Photographers-Help documentation team capture this historic moment.

*Videographers -record footage for youtube and the world.

I had this idea! Let's meet up this Saturday October 10th for the Today's Show.
If you can and want to be on T.V. meet me and the other zombies at the taping area
in Rockefeller Center. Make posters that say "Donate! We are Thrilling The World
here in NYC October 24th!" Etc... The today show starts at 6am, since I have to
teach later at 3pm I might not get there until around 8am. But if anyone wants
to go and tell them we could schedule a performance of "Thriller" either right then
and there or later in the week We will do it!! What better way then go up right
under their noses and say Hi?? See you there in full zombie gear and with signs.
Then after wards we can go flash mob dancing around town and then maybe breakfast.
